Assassin

Role: Melee Damage
Damage Type: Physical
Combat Range: Close
Primary Weapon: Assassin Blade

The Assassin is a fast melee combatant built around mobility, bleeding effects, and sudden bursts of damage.

Rather than remaining in the center of a fight, the Assassin moves rapidly between targets, attacks from favorable positions, and escapes before enemies can properly respond.

The class rewards timing and awareness. Entering combat at the wrong moment can be dangerous, but a well-positioned Assassin can dismantle priority targets quickly.

Combat Style

The Assassin is built for players who enjoy fast, aggressive combat and striking enemies before they have time to react. High mobility and strong close-range burst allow Assassins to dive onto vulnerable targets, apply bleeding, and quickly reposition before the fight turns against them. The class rewards players who can smoothly chain movement and attack abilities, as staying mobile is often the key to survival.

Unlike heavier frontline classes, Assassins cannot rely on durability and must use their speed to avoid prolonged fights.

Abilities

Assassin’s Blade - Passive

Your attacks have a chance to inflict bleeding.

Bleeding continues damaging the enemy after the initial strike and becomes especially valuable during extended fights or when several abilities apply it in quick succession.

Blade Slash - Basic Attack

Deliver a fast blade strike to the enemy in front of you.

Blade Slash is the Assassin’s main direct attack and helps maintain pressure between larger abilities.

Dash

Rush forward through enemies, damaging every target crossed during the movement.

Dash can be used to begin an attack, escape danger, pass through an enemy group, or reach a more vulnerable target.

Dagger Throw

Throw three spinning daggers toward your target.

Dagger Throw gives the Assassin a limited ranged option and can pressure enemies before entering melee range.

Shadow Walk

Become faster and temporarily invisible.

Your next basic attack after leaving the shadows deals powerful bleeding damage. Attacking ends the invisibility effect.

Shadow Walk can be used to prepare an ambush, reposition safely, or disengage from an encounter.

Razor Spin

Combo: Dash followed by Blade Slash

Spin with your weapon and damage nearby enemies.

Razor Spin allows the Assassin to follow mobility with an immediate area attack.

Blade Dance - Ultimate

Move rapidly between multiple targets, striking each one with your blade.

Enemies hit by Blade Dance are left bleeding, making the ability especially dangerous against clustered groups.

Party Role

In group content, Assassins are best used to pressure targets that the frontline cannot easily reach, such as ranged enemies, support units, or isolated priority targets. They can quickly capitalize on enemies that are already stunned or controlled, finish weakened targets, and then disengage before drawing too much attention.

The class works especially well when a Warrior, Paladin, or Barbarian is already keeping most enemies occupied, giving the Assassin room to choose when and where to strike.

Early Access Notice

Assassin mobility, bleeding values, targeting behavior, and damage scaling may continue to change during Early Access.
