Cleric

Role: Healer and Support
Damage Type: Magical and Holy
Combat Range: Close to Medium
Primary Weapon: Cleric Mace

The Cleric is Ardynor’s dedicated support class, using holy light to heal allies, weaken enemies, and stabilize dangerous encounters.

Unlike a passive healer who remains outside battle, the Cleric must continue attacking and using abilities to build power. Managing personal health is also important, as one of the class’s strongest healing abilities requires the Cleric to make a sacrifice.

A skilled Cleric can completely change the outcome of a dungeon or boss encounter.

Combat Style

The Cleric is built for players who enjoy keeping their party alive while actively shaping the course of a fight. Through healing, buffs, and abilities that weaken enemies, Clerics can support several allies at once and make important decisions when a battle begins to turn. Positioning is key: staying close enough to reach the group while avoiding the frontline allows the Cleric to remain effective without becoming an easy target.

Abilities

Dawnbringer Angel - Passive

A guardian angel accompanies the Cleric.

Using Divine Immolation increases the angel’s stored light. Once enough energy has been gathered, the angel releases a sustained healing aura for the Cleric and nearby allies while pushing enemies away.

Divine Immolation - Basic Attack

Swing the Cleric’s mace with a radiant trail.

Enemies struck by the attack are pushed in the direction of the swing.

Luminous Wave

Release a cone of holy light in front of you.

The wave damages enemies and pushes them slightly backward.

Blessing of the White Lantern

Summon a holy lantern above the area.

Enemies beneath it are weakened, while allies receive resistance and protection from fire.

Divine Cross

Create a radiant cross on the ground.

Enemies in the area are damaged and pushed away. Allies standing nearby receive healing and increased movement speed.

Tears of God

Sacrifice part of your own health to call down a purified tear upon a selected ally.

The target receives an immediate heal followed by regeneration.

This ability cannot be used when the Cleric’s health is already too low.

Divine Punishment - Ultimate

Become a temporary embodiment of radiant power. While Divine Punishment is active, the Cleric is protected and moves more quickly as holy energy radiates across the battlefield. Nearby allies are continuously healed and strengthened, while enemies caught within the effect take damage and suffer weakness, slowness, blindness, and a stun.

While channeling this power, the Cleric cannot cast other spells.

Party Role

In group content, Clerics need to keep track of the entire party rather than focusing on a single ally. Staying active in combat helps maintain angel energy, while well-placed support abilities can give the group a safe place to recover or push through difficult moments. Strong Cleric play also means knowing when to save emergency healing, when a health-sacrificing ability is too risky, and when to commit major support effects during dangerous boss attacks.

As encounters become more demanding, the Cleric’s ability to keep a group alive and stable becomes increasingly important.
